Alcohol
County Durham DAAT has been given responsibility on behalf of County Durham PCT to commission alcohol services.
Mandy English has been appointed as the Alcohol Commissioning Manager. The role of this involves developing and commissioning County Durham’s first dedicated alcohol service. This model will be a holistic approach to alcohol misuse addressing the regional priorities of Prevention, Treatment and Control.
Support and treatment will be offered to those who need it including families and children.

We aim to provide alcohol advice and alcohol information as well as parents support for alcohol misusers or those affected in any way by alcohol abuse. We also offer alcohol and alcoholic drink information for those who wish to consume alcohol in moderate amounts.
