Families affected by drugs and alcohol need support to deal with issues they are faced with. County Durham Drug and Alcohol Action Team recognises that working with the whole family will have a better outcome for the person who is misusing substances.

Grandparents
Mentor UK has been working with Adfam and grandparents Plus to asses the needs of grandparents who are bringing up their grandchildren due to drugs and alcohol. Funding from the Department of Health has enabled ‘Mind the Gap’ resource pack to be produced.
