Do you want a job that will lead to a significant improvment in the quality of care of drug and alcohol service users in County Durham through commissioning.
County Durham DAAT has developed significantly over the last two years into an effective commissioning organisation. We are looking for someone to join the team who will take responsibility for supporting the development of the Service Level Agreements that are changing the landscape of services in this sector.
You will need to be hard-working and really want to make a difference to the lives of service usres. In return, the DAAT will be prepared to support you in this role and your career development.

SECONDMENT OPPORTUNITY - Alcohol Administrator/Data Support Officer
County Durham DAAT is committed to the national agenda for alcohol misuse and to the regional priorities of prevention, treatment and control.
County Durham DAAT has played a leading role within the region regarding alcohol developpment work, including commissioning the first integrated alcohol treatment service for the County.
Dedicated support is needed to further progress this work. This role will include day-to-day administrative support for the Alcohol Commissioning Manager, with a priority on data/informatoin collection and analysis.
This is an exciting opportunity to be involved in a strategic organisation that addresses substance misuse issues across County Durham. The alcohol agenda, in particular, is an exciting area of development.
Applicants will have experience in administration and have a background and understanding of substance misuse data systems and performance managmement.
